Each print feels like a postcard from the Big Apple on a crisp winter's day, and together as a set they create a really cohesive, calm focal point above the mantelpiece. If you love to travel, or simply love New York, these will make you smile every single time you walk into the room.

The left print shows a snowy NYC street lined with bare-branched trees and classic yellow cabs, soft buildings fading into a pale wintry haze. The central print — the anchor of the trio — captures an ice-skating rink in Central Park with tiny figures gliding around, surrounded by evergreen trees and the Manhattan skyline rising beyond, with the words Winter in New York written beneath in delicate script. The right print shows a lively street corner near the Flatiron Building, with vintage-style cars in amber and pale blue, bundled-up pedestrians, evergreen trees, and warm amber light glowing from windows. The overall palette is beautifully restrained: creamy off-white backgrounds with touches of soft gold tone, warm terracotta, muted green and grey-blue — nothing loud, nothing jarring, just really lovely.

What's Included with Pictures Above Fireplace New York Watercolour Travel Wall Art Prints | "Winter in New York" | Set of 3

A set of 3 individual art prints featuring a cohesive watercolour winter New York City scene

Printed in the UK using fade-resistant pigment inks, designed for indoor display

The framed and canvas-wrapped options arrive ready to hang — so you save the time and hassle of hunting for a frame that fits perfectly. The unframed option is the print only.

Choose between unframed and framed options in multiple sizes and in Luster or Museum quality; also available in wrapped canvas size options

How to Style Pictures Above Fireplace with This New York Set

I'd hang all three prints in a straight horizontal row above the mantelpiece with an equal gap between each one — somewhere between 5 and 8 cm tends to look really neat and intentional. Because the palette is so soft and creamy, these prints sit beautifully against warm white, off-white, light greige or even a pale sage wall. The beige and amber tones in the artwork will pick up beautifully on any natural wood, brass-tone or neutral accessories you already have on your mantelpiece — think candles, small plants or a simple clock. One thing competitors and interior experts all agree on: filling the space proportionally above a fireplace is key. With a set of 3, you get lovely width without needing one oversized single piece, and the horizontal arrangement keeps the eye moving naturally across all three scenes. If your fireplace wall is wider, consider going a size up on all three prints so they fill the space confidently rather than looking lost. A good rule of thumb is that your art arrangement should span roughly two-thirds to three-quarters of the width of your mantelpiece — so measure yours before you choose. If you have a standard UK fireplace, the A3 or 50x70cm options in this set tend to work really well; for a grander chimney breast, step up to A2 or larger for real impact. In terms of finish, the Museum quality paper gives a slightly richer depth of colour which I think suits the painterly watercolour style of these prints especially well — the soft washes of colour really sing on it. If you prefer a slightly more satin look, the Luster paper is a lovely choice too. And if you want zero faff, the framed option means everything arrives ready to go straight on the wall. Scroll down to see how each size looks above a fireplace before you decide — there is a size-guide image below showing every size in that setting so you can picture it properly.

FIRCITYNY5- A4UN
