How to Measure Your Horse for a Swish Equestrian Rug

How Should a Swish Equestrian Horse Rug Fit?
Swish Equestrian horse rugs are generally designed with a standard to generous fit, so in most cases the usual rug size for your horse should be suitable. If your horse measures between two sizes, Swish recommends choosing the smaller size. The rugs are designed to sit slightly higher around the neck, helping to provide comfortable room through the shoulders.
A correctly fitted horse rug should sit comfortably over the withers and shoulders without restricting movement. The chest straps should hold the rug securely without pulling tightly across the back, while the cross surcingles should allow approximately a hand's width between the straps and the horse's belly.
