The Ironclad Tactical Trigger Impact Gloves leave the thumb, index and middle finger open, so the three digits that do the shooting stay bare while the rest of the hand keeps full cover and armour. There is no touchscreen layer because there does not need to be: the fingertips that work a phone, an optic or a trigger are already exposed. The ring and little fingers stay fully enclosed in suede.

The protection is the real story. Moulded TPR guards run across the knuckles and along the fingers, and the EN 388 rating is 2121AP. That trailing P is the impact mark, which means the armour has been tested and passed against a defined standard rather than simply being rubber on the back of the hand. Ironclad build in trigger finger relief so the guards do not snag or deaden the trigger stroke. Underneath, a reinforced suede palm is rated 4/5 for grip dry, wet and oily alike, an Airmesh flex panel vents the back of the hand, and a large cuff pull and carabiner loop handle carry. Covered by a full 12-month warranty against faults in materials and workmanship, where 90 days is the norm across the category.

Worth knowing before you buy. Three fingertips are deliberately uncovered, so those digits have no abrasion, cut or puncture protection at all. That is the trade for trigger feel. If you want the same certified 2121AP armour with every finger enclosed, the Ironclad Tactical Impact Gloves are the full-finger version of this glove.
Also in the Ironclad tactical range: the Ironclad Tactical Impact Gloves, Ironclad Tactical Pro Gloves, Ironclad Tactical Grip Gloves and the Ironclad Caliber Vented Tactical Gloves. Only these and the Tactical Impact carry the certified 2121AP rating. The Pro and the Grip use neoprene padding instead, which is lighter but not tested to the impact standard.

    Safety Information

Match the glove to the task. The thumb, index and middle fingertips are deliberately left uncovered, so those three digits carry no cut, abrasion or puncture protection and are exposed to whatever the hand meets. The EN 388 impact mark is a pass or fail result, not a graded level, and it applies to the armoured areas on the back of the hand and covered fingers. The palm carries no impact protection.

The ANSI A1 cut level suits general handling rather than blade work, and cut-resistant does not mean cut-proof. Check the stated ratings before use and do not exceed them. Inspect the guards and stitching for wear before each use and replace when damaged. Keep hands clear of moving machinery where a glove could be caught.
