Hand-woven in Colombia from sun-dried iraca leaf — the classic diamond weave and coiled border, in the warm yellow of a material that has been cut, dried, and woven by Andean artisans before it ever reaches a table.

The yellow of dried iraca is not a dye. It is what the leaf becomes when the weavers of the high Andean valleys leave it to the sun — a process that takes as long as it takes and cannot be hurried.
