Brushed Gold Blazer Button

A brushed gold surface gives this plain button a soft, matt glow rather than a high shine. Each button passes through more than a dozen stages of striking and finishing, to the standard expected of the Royal Warrant holders for buttons. It is made from gilding metal, the traditional alloy for military and blazer buttons, with a brushed gold finish. The large button is 2.0cm across and the small button 1.5cm. Available singly, it suits a replacement or a small run of cuff buttons. It suits navy and country cloth where polished gilt would feel too formal.
