City Of London Yeomanry Silk Reppe Tie

The City of London Yeomanry (Rough Riders) was formed in 1901 from veterans of the Second Boer War. In the First World War it served dismounted at Gallipoli, and before the Second World War it was expanded into a light anti-aircraft regiment, serving through the Blitz and later in Tunisia and Italy. This striped silk reppe tie carries the regimental colours of purple, light blue and gold. Made in England from 100% silk, with a blade width of approximately 8.5cm, it ties a firm, well-formed knot. A fitting tie for reunions and Remembrance. Dry clean only, and supplied in a Benson & Clegg presentation box.
