Lion Passant Guardant Blazer Button

A single lion passant guardant, walking with its head turned to face the viewer, is struck in fine relief on this heraldic button. Every button goes through more than a dozen stages of making and inspection, and the design is one of the long-standing classics of the Benson & Clegg range. It is finished in gold plate over gilding metal, the traditional alloy for military and blazer buttons. The large button is 2.0cm across and the small button 1.5cm. Available singly, it suits a replacement or a small run of cuff buttons. It brings a quiet heraldic note to a navy or bottle green blazer.
