Marlborough College, founded in 1843 in the Wiltshire market town that gives it its name, is one of England's best-known independent schools. This striped three-fold silk reppe tie sets broad bands of red and black diagonally across the blade, each divided by a fine white line, a bold, spirited design with plenty of presence.
