Mursi Wooden Neck Ornament - Ethiopia - 53.1

This neck adornment consists of four long tubular pendants of varying lengths, each with a tiered notched design. Flanking the four long pendants are two large wooden beads.

Strung on hand-twisted natural fibre rope, the amber-toned wood is polished smooth from years of handling. Presented on a black metal gallery stand.
