A handmade Baule trade-bead necklace, strung with cast bronze ornaments from Ghana. Bronze trade beads have a long history across West Africa as both currency and adornment, and each strand is assembled by hand, so no two are quite alike.

Wears beautifully layered with other pieces or on its own against plain fabrics.
