Hand-coiled in Nariño from iraca leaf, each ring from this set of 4 takes a skilled weaver a full day — the fine spoked rosettes woven strand by strand and banded in green, to a tension that only five centuries of practice produces.

Natural straw sits against bands of green, the two tones shifting against each other as the light moves. One weaver. One ring. The dye, the weave, the finish — all by hand, creating something beautiful.
