Copper Bangle (78B)

A Congolese bangle, hand-carved from local wood and clad in metal. Traditionally these were worn to guard the wrist against the recoil of a bowstring — practical and decorative at once. Each is one of a kind and comes with its own custom display stand; they look especially good shown as a pair.
