    All About Diastatic Malt Flour:

    Made from wholegrain barley, diastatic malt is often used to soften the crumb of bread or give a darker crust colour. Also useful in malt loaf as the active enzymes break down starches to help produce the lovely gooey texture.

    Instructions For Use:

    Diastatic malt powder is the ‘secret ingredient’ to add if you want your breads to have a stronger rise, better texture, and lovely brown crust. Make sure to only use a small amount, up to 0.5%, or your loaf may become sticky.

    Storage Use:

    Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and damp. Reseal when no longer in use or move to an airtight container.
