Grain Stomper - 20.2

African grain stompers are hand-made from hollowed-out tree trunks, traditionally used to grind grain. This one has been recycled from its original purpose into a side table, with a copper top added.

It carries a beautiful patina from age, along with the metal embellishments and repair work typical of pieces that saw real use in the field.
