The Gymnocalycium friedrichii (Ruby ball) is a beautiful variegated globular cactus with rows of spines which range in variegation and colour. Due to the lack of green chlorophyll it will produce unique patterns of green and pink/purple, each one is unique. Native to South America where it grow in arid regions this plant is part of the Gymnocalycium genus.
RATING- Easy
LOVES- A bright sunny position, a sunny windowsill is ideal. Ensure it receives good light in the Winter months.
HATES- Overwatering- water sparingly every 2-3 weeks and reduce in winter allowing it to fully dry out.
