Iris ensata (Iris kaempferi)

Iris ensata 'Iris kaempferi', commonly known as Japanese iris, is a clump-forming perennial with long, sword-shaped green leaves that create an upright, architectural habit. In early to mid-summer, it produces large, flat, showy flowers in shades of purple, blue, or violet, often with intricate markings, providing a striking display in borders or pond edges.
