Iris pseudata 'Kimboshi', commonly known as pseudata iris 'Kimboshi', is a marginal aquatic perennial hybrid combining traits of yellow flag iris (Iris pseudacorus) and Japanese iris (Iris ensata). It forms upright clumps of sword-like green foliage and produces showy golden-yellow flowers above the leaves in late spring to early summer.
This cultivar adds strong vertical and seasonal colour to pond margins while supporting pollinators such as bees. Its upright habit and tolerance of consistently moist or shallowly submerged soil make it ideal for pond edges, bog gardens, and water features with shallow water.
