Lash Retention & Speed Booster – Cosmetic Grade

When your lash adhesive needs a little extra support, changing glue isn't always the answer.

Our UK-manufactured, cosmetic-grade Lash Retention & Speed Booster is designed to support cyanoacrylate adhesive curing where it's needed. It's especially useful to consider for low-porosity natural lashes, lower-humidity working conditions and handmade Volume fan control.

Why Choose Retention Booster?

• Low-porosity lashes: Smooth, compact natural lash surfaces can sometimes make adhesive attachment more challenging. Booster can support curing at the lash surface.
• Low humidity: When your usual adhesive is curing more slowly than expected, Booster may help you achieve a more suitable working pace.
• Handmade Volume fans: A small amount on the lash strip can help with fan creation and pickup.

How does it work? With an approximate pH of 8.5, Booster is a higher-pH preparation product intended to support adhesive curing. It doesn't change natural lash porosity or guarantee improved retention. Correct application, adhesive choice and room conditions still matter. Learn more in our lash porosity guide.

How to Use

On natural lashes: Cleanse and dry first. Apply a small amount with a clean microbrush, avoiding skin and eyes. Do not oversaturate; allow to dry before extension application.

For handmade Volume: Apply sparingly to the lash strip before making fans. Not recommended for Easy Fan trays.

Important: Booster is optional, not a step every client needs. If your adhesive is already curing quickly, extra speed can lead to premature curing and weak attachment. Read our temperature and humidity guide.

Booster, pH Balancer or Superbonder?

Booster: A prep aid when extra curing speed is appropriate. pH Balancer / Primer: A different preparation product (approximately pH 7.5). Superbonder: A finishing product used after application, not a substitute for Booster. Choose according to the client and your adhesive; don't automatically layer every product.
