Sowing & Growing Instructions (Technical Specs)

Sowing Indoors (Under Glass):

• When: Late January to March.

• Method: Sow in modular trays or directly into greenhouse borders for an extra-early spring harvest. Maintain a temperature of 15–20°C for quick germination.

Sowing Outdoors:

• When: March to September.

• Method: Sow thinly in shallow drills 1.5cm deep, leaving 15–30cm between rows. These fast-growing roots do not like being moved, so sow directly where they are to grow.

Top Tip: To avoid the "woody" texture and keep them crunchy, sow small batches every 2 weeks for a continuous harvest. Water well during dry spells to ensure rapid growth and a mild flavor.
