Latin name Monstera deliciosa commonly known as a Cheese Plant or Swiss Cheese Plant - these guys grow so well and in various conditions. This is a young Swiss Cheese Plant with leaves that are currently heart-shaped and as they mature the leaves will split (which is known as fenestration).

LOVES: Cheese Plants enjoy being watered once a week and misted frequently to increase the humidity. They will tolerate most light levels but prefer semi-shade. Once the aerial roots form, push them back into the soil as much as you can.
HATES: Swiss Cheese Plants dislike super shady spots and new leaves will not develop holes if the location is too dark.
