    Common Name: Omega Fat Restoring Agent

    A biodegradable lipid restorer to add oil to the hair or skin after it has been washed so that the skin does not feet tight and uncomfortable.

    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

    A thick, yellow to brownish liquid produced from natural olive oil. It is readily biodegradable.
     
    When a shampoo has been used, not only is grease and sebum removed from the hair, but also from the scalp. This can leave the scalp feeling dry, tight and itchy.
     
    Omega Fat Restoring Agent provides a soothing lipid coating for the scalp that does not adhere to the hair so the hair is not left lank and heavy.
    It can be added to surfactants without affecting the lathering power or thickening properties. In surfactant blends, it can be used as a solubiliser for essential oils at a ratio of 1:6 (oil to Omega). It can also be used as a co-emulsifier when making creams and lotions.

    HOW TO USE IT

    Use in formulations at 1% to 5%. If stored in a cold area, it can become very thick. Warming it slightly returns it to a fluid state.
     
    Skin Care
    It adds a lipid layer to the skin when used in shower gels and hand washes which stops the skin from feeling tight or uncomfortable.
    Hair Care
    It adds a lipid layer to the scalp when used in shampoos, which stops the scalp from feeling tight or uncomfortable. It does not adhere to the hair shaft as it is not cationic.

    RECIPES & BLENDS

    Blends very well with Guar Gum to make a thickening, anti static, conditioning agent.
