The Cottage Garden planting theme is a lovely mixture of herbaceous perennials planted informally to create a jungle of colour. Cottage Garden borders are often associated with the traditional British wildlife, attracting lots of butterflies and bees through their characteristics of scent and colour. If you're wanting to create a garden border that will attract wildlife, smell beautifully and blow you away with colour then this is the ready made border you're looking for!
