While both Matricaria chamomilla (German chamomile) and Chamaemelum nobile (Roman chamomile) are used traditionally, this extract is sourced from Matricaria recutita. Flowers are harvested at peak freshness, then processed using super-critical carbon dioxide – a solvent-free technology that preserves fragile aromatic esters and rare azulene precursors better than steam distillation. The extract is made from dried flowers, resulting in a concentrated flower extract that retains the plant’s bioactive compounds.

Often pure CO₂ extracts are too thick for precise dosing so we dilute the concentrate 1:9 in golden organic jojoba oil. Jojoba, a liquid wax ester similar to human sebum, is the perfect carrier: stable, non-greasy, and universally tolerated.
