PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A pale amber coloured liquid made by using glycerin as a means of extracting the active components from pomegranate pulp.
Pomegranate seeds that are extracted into glycerin by a proprietary process.
This unique extraction process is qualified by the Soil Association and it results in a sparkling extract, which is not as sticky as pure glycerin extracts.
It is sterilised by filtration so no preservative is necessary to keep the extract in its pure form.
Pomegranate contains ellagic acid which, together with other polyphenols, helps to maintain healthy skin.

HOW TO USE IT
Skin Care
Pomegranate Glycerol Extract is a good replacement for glycerin in skin products as it has the humectant effect needed.
Add to after shave products like skin soothers and moisturisers.
It can be used as a moisturiser in antioxidant creams and lotions. It also has a skin soothing effect.
This is ideal in night creams and anti aging serums. Combine with hydrolats to make facial toners and spritzes for targeting specific areas or for general moisturisation. Especially effective after sunburn.
Very calming and soothing when used in after shave creams and lotions or spritzes.
Equally effective for using after waxing or other hair removal.
Hair Care
Add to shampoos and hair conditioners.
Recommended for oily hair.
Other
Use at 3% to 6%.
It is safe to use at higher amounts but there is a possibility that the end product may feel a little sticky.
Water soluble so cannot be used in oil only products.
Once opened do not leave the cap off the bottle whilst you are working and after use, squeeze some of the air out of the bottle to reduce potential oxidation and seal tightly.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Protect from freezing and direct sunlight.
