Turmeric is bright yellow earthy spice with a warm but bitter flavour, a bit like pepper with a mustard aroma. Turmeric adds wonderful colour to rice, risotto and curried dishes and can also be used in pasta dishes and soups. Makes a really good Turmeric Latte!
