Skimmia japonica ‘Finchy’

A hardy winter plant is the Skimmia japonica ‘Finchy’ it is known for its long-lasting, creamy-yellow flower buds that start flowering at the end of august and stay right through until springtime, this is when they open up into fragrant ivory flowers. A brilliant  early pollinator and compact evergreen it great for pots and borders!

RATING- Easy

LOVES- Keep soil moist at all times, allowing top half of soil to dry before watering. Too much water will cause root rot. 

HATES- To much sun! - prefers a partially shady spot!
