Tuareg tent peg sculpture - 55.2

A handcrafted vintage wooden tent peg from the Tuareg, a nomadic Berber people of roughly two million who range across the Sahara Desert in Mali, Niger, Libya, Algeria and Chad. Pegs like this were hand-carved to secure their large desert tents.
