It is a milk carton, scaled up to 55.5 cm and given a cat-sized front door. The body is printed in vertical chocolate brown and sky blue stripes separated by fine cream pinstripes, and the top folds into a proper gabled roof ridge in solid brown, fastened with two round studs. A small red circular tag hangs from the ridge on a tab, printed with the line "Only the best for your loving pet." The zeze wordmark sits in white low on the front panel.

There are two round doorways, each finished with a cream rim: a large opening on the front for coming and going, and a smaller porthole on the adjacent side. Between them the cat gets a lookout as well as an entrance, which tends to matter more than the size of the house. A hiding place with only one exit is a trap; a hiding place with two openings is a den.

The whole structure is corrugated cardboard, so the walls double as a scratching surface. zeze describe the corrugated body as giving just the right amount of resistance, keeping claws worn down through ordinary use rather than through a separate session at a post.

The footprint is only 33.5 × 30.5 cm, so it takes up about as much floor as a small side table while standing tall enough to read as a piece of the room. It suits a corner of a sitting room, a hallway, or a spot beside a window where a cat can watch the street through the porthole.
