Our Wild Elephant Organic Ceylon Cinnamon is called True because of the fact that this variety is the true original cinnamon, native to Sri Lanka (formerly known as Ceylon).Ceylon cinnamon has a lighter colour, more delicate taste and a more flavourful aroma. It is also more difficult to find and more expensive than the more common Cassia variety.
Ceylon Cinnamon is particularly popular because it has lower levels of Coumarin compared to Cassia Cinnamon.
Add to porridge, smoothie, chai latte or incorporate into baking recipes like banana bread, muffins, biscuits etc.
